Identification Process
1. Students are nominated by parents, school personnel, peers, and community members.
2. Permission to gather data and assess student is obtained by coordinator.
3. Data is collected, including testing data and behavioral scales.
4. Case Study is formed.
5. Committee of teachers and administrators meets to determine appropriate needs.
6. Parents are informed of committee decision.

Regular testing occurs in the spring of each school year, although nominations for testing are accepted at any time.
